About Salyantar Campus

Salyantar Campus: Empowering the Heartland of Dhading

Established in 2064 BS (2007 AD), Salyantar Campus stands as a beacon of higher education in the Tripurasundari Rural Municipality of Dhading. As a community-based academic institution, it was founded with the noble objective of providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality education to the residents of Salyantar—the largest flatland (Tar) in the hilly region of Nepal—and its surrounding areas.

The history of Salyantar Campus is deeply rooted in the collective efforts of local educators, social workers, and the community. Before its establishment, students from this region had to migrate to Kathmandu or other major cities for higher studies, which was financially prohibitive for many. The campus has since bridged this gap, fostering a culture of academic excellence and social responsibility. With a mission to produce skilled manpower capable of competing in the global market while remaining grounded in local values, the institution focuses on holistic development through its management and education faculties.

Academic strengths at Salyantar Campus lie in its dedicated faculty members and its strong connection with the community. The campus doesn't just offer degrees; it serves as a hub for intellectual discourse and regional development. Its vision is to evolve into a leading research-oriented institution that contributes significantly to the socio-economic transformation of the Bagmati Province.
