Ayurveda Campus, located in the historic town of Kirtipur, Kathmandu, stands as the premier and oldest institution for Ayurvedic education in Nepal. As a constituent campus of the Institute of Medicine (IOM) under Tribhuvan University, it represents the pinnacle of traditional healing integrated with modern clinical practices.

Our Rich Heritage

The roots of Ayurveda Campus date back to 1928 AD (1985 BS) when it was established as the Rajkiya Ayurveda Vidhyalaya. It has undergone several transformations, eventually becoming part of Tribhuvan University in 1972. Originally situated in Naradevi, the academic blocks were moved to Kirtipur to provide a more expansive environment for research and learning, while maintaining a strong clinical link with the Naradevi Ayurveda Hospital.
